Application for the Authorisation of Declaring Agent(s)

This service allows importers that have Inter-Bank GIRO (IBG) and/or lodged Banker's Guarantee (BG) with Singapore Customs to authorise declaring agent(s) to make use of their IBG or BG for their own imports, or to delete them as authorised declaring agents when they are no longer engaging their services.

Information required for Application
1. UEN of your entity
2. Your Inter-Bank GIRO (IBG) Number and/or Banker's Guarantee (BG) Number, where applicable
3. UEN of Declaring Agent(s)

Important Note

  • This form takes about 10 minutes to complete.
  • The approval letter will be sent either by fax or email to the Primary Contact registered with Singapore Customs. If there are changes in the contact details, please inform the key personnel whose particulars have been filed with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), or an authorised personnel listed in Singapore Customs' records to update the particulars at the Activation of Customs Account from our website at:
    https://www.tradenet.gov.sg/TN41EFORM/tds/sp/splogin.do?action=init_acct.

  • Data Freeze
    • From 2 July 2015 23:59hrs to 4 July 2015 22:00hrs: SingPass users can access the "Application for the Authorisation of Declaring Agent(s)" e-service but cannot change any of their SingPass profile information (e.g. password) during this period.
  • System Downtime
    • From 4 July 2015 22:00hrs to 5 July 2015 10:00hrs: SingPass users will not be able to log in to their SingPass account or access the "Application for the Authorisation of Declaring Agent(s)" e-service during this period.
